Camper, camping car, motor home, mobile home, recreational vehicle, dormobile, wohnmobile, reisemobil, caravane, ...
It's got so many different names in all kinds of languages, but they basically only mean one thing : HOLIDAY !
The German diecast brand Siku has made and still makes many mostly full diecast models of these travelling holiday houses in scales ranging from (probably) 1/72 over 1/55 to 1/50, and all are licensed! The bigger scales have opening and functional parts.
First up is #1022 Iveco-Wohnmobil, which is based on a Iveco TurboDaily from the nineties.
Next up, #1671 Niesmann + Bischoff Arto Wohnmobil, probably the most modern RV of the bunch.
#2536 is also a Niesmann + Bischoff creation called Flair, based on a Fiat Ducato chassis with cabin.
The Reisemobil Clouliner bares the #3129, it's an older model Made In Germany. Unfortunately the accessories were missing from it.
We end with a bang when it comes to the campers, the #1943 Volkner Mobil Performance, a mammoth RV with a parking garage underneath and an extendible side wall, very impressive!
To finish off I show set #1629, a Volkswagen New Beetle with a teardrop style camper trailer, the only caravan I have by Siku.
Enjoy, and thank you very much for watching !
