I live in rural Udon Thani province and in the last 2 and a half years many new little houses are springing up all over the countryside. Many people are coming home and starting a new life.

I am in the North of Southam and as you say, people are coming back. The hyperinflated currency is stable now. Things change. I see renovations here. Must be around ten in the morning - sawadi from the other side, where I must go to bed.

I decided that I am going to my home to do the garden after watching Jon Jandai''s video. After 12 years go far away from home, and study many things at University and Congress Catholic Church. After all, I need to go back home, the place I was born, and grow. It brings peace and happiness to me. What Jon said got inspiring for me to come back to the root of everything. From now on, I will build a self-reliant life, a simple life. That is the road, the Truth, and the living Life.

Idk if this is happening all over the world, but definitely America and Japan, people move in droves to start a new life in the countryside. They're going home.

One example of how technology and social media are used for good. How they make it possible to live a simple life in harmony with nature and with our true selves and still make a decent living. ❤

Many people travelled in the 1950s, 60s and every decade to work and send remittances back home to the villages and towns. Some returned home, some stayed, married and raised kids and grandkids.

Travel is good for the mind and for the heart. It makes us more open-minded and more kind. One of my favorite quotes about the power of travel comes from Mark Twain: "“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” And if you are mindful and live a simple life, you can still be the same when you travel. ❤
