So if I have multiple projects for Go,(say, one for counting coins, the other for spelling my name with funny letters), will I have to edit the environment path every time? How do you manage multiple projects in Go if all the code is supposed to go in that 'src' folder?

Are you enrolled in my course on Greater Commons? The course there explains it all!

I need to know if the GOPATH is where your packages will be installed to. Mine by default install to a 'go' folder in my username directory under users.

You have a GOROOT and a GOPATH. The GOROOT is where everything you downloaded from golang.org and installed is stored. The GOROOT is your WORKSPACE. The GOROOT should point to a folder which has three sub-folders: bin, pkg, src. The "src" is where you store your code - that is your workspace.

I think I understand what you're saying. That being said, isn't GOPATH the workspace and GOROOT the installation location?
