This is by far the best song ever written and beautifully performed Ron is on a whole different level no one can touch your emotions like he can. Exceptional.

John, yours might be the greatest KZitem comment of all time.

In a way, I'm selfishly glad he's stayed relatively low key. When he posts on his KZitem channel, playing and singing songs from his home, it feels so intimate, like a private little concert only select people are allowed to attend. He replied years ago to one of my comments, and I've kept it in my Inbox, treasuring it forever, love him so much :)

@BillGreenAZ Heads up, he has two channels. He has his main Ron Sexsmith promotional channel, but also a much lesser known channel where he shares songs from home! I don't know how to copy a link, but if you search "rawnboy ron sexsmith", you'll find it. Enjoy! 😊

I first heard this song not long before my cousin killed himself in October 2020. Once I heard the news, I couldn't help but wish I could have teleported into that moment, whisked him away, and played him this song. This song is helping me to get through 2020: covid restrictions upended my housing situation, I got a concussion at work, one young relative died of a heart attack, my cousin killed himself, and a close family friend received a terminal diagnosis. I play this song every day for comfort and hope. Thank you, Ron Sexsmith.

I agree, it's odd. Doesn't really track. He's songwriting is solid. Epic even. The contours of what's popular is as chaotic as the moving clouds or a storm on the water. In the end, we have to be motivated by something that transcends any type of peer recognition. It has to come from within. I think this song perfectly encapsulates that feeling and truth. He really nailed it here. And history will confirm that truth.

Ron, if we were school-mates together, back in public school....grade 2 or 3 or something.....and you were being bullied........I would fight the bully for you. Even if he was a real mean sonovabitch and I knew he'd kick my fucking ass. You're the kind of TRUE ARTIST that we need to protect, and nurture, and encourage. If you are able to create your art, the world is absolutely a much better place. And I'd take a serious beating to make sure of that. ;)
