In Response to all the: isn’t it gonna blow up comments? No, it won’t, do you really think a customer would bring his mint condition beloved Golf R Mk7.5 in to make more power if he thought it would blow up imminently after the work was completed? I don’t think so.🙂 As long as the cars checked out regularly and not doing non-stop doughnuts around a supermarket car park at 7000 rpm (common sense no cooling or air flow and looking like an idiot). The TTE555 lives up to its reputation and does the hard work. Amazing build quality and is bulletproof. A fantastic unit. Thanks for watching the video guys 🙏✌️

The Golf R engine is only a 9.3 compression ratio. So it can handle the high PSI. But ya 33psi is still even a lot ngl..

Plenty of golfs running e85 stock block/clutches pushing 480whp no issues just bring on boost at higher rpm range

@@mobro7ps3 it does not. Ur dashboard measures turbo psi plus atmospheric pressure. Your 33 needs to be subtracted by 14 or so. I know this cuz i had a GTI with the same head unit

I think there are quite a few people with GTI’s with 400-450 whp that are reliable. It doesn’t seem to far fetched that an R motor can make a bit more. After all don’t they have beefier rods and lower compression pistons to handle more boost over a GTI?

eqt xl turbo 50,000 miles 10.8 1/4 mile daily driven. people realize that because a car is 500hp doesnt mean its 500hp100% of the time. you're probably using 180hp cruising about in traffic and ony hit peak hp when you're going wide open throttle. do your maintainnce these motors live long.

Whats the ideal mileage to maintenance the motor with this power? Just wondering because the stock bearings and restricted heads feels like a problem waiting to happen.

Max 3k miles oil changes if you smash your car 2.5k, spark plugs and coils more often even that they are iridium and always check your coolant and oil level bearings even a good aftermarket one not more than 60k miles with out change it.

BIg question of reliability here. Is this safe or likely to blow in a short time?

@@Jordan_race We haven't tuned an EA888 engine on the TTV4 turbo yet. Intercooler I believe is Airtec.
