i tried following step by step ang laing mo boss goma... tawa ng tawa ang husband ko kc bakit paulit ulit ko daw pinapanood habang nagluluto... una sa lahat di ako marunong magluto... pacham lng po... mas marunong ako mag instruct tas tikimtikim.. but this time.. ako ang nagluto... ilocana kc ako but i love laing... so bumibili ako or humihingi lng sa ofismeyts ng laing na ulam nila but this time.. ako tlaga nagtry.. though nag add ako ng evaporada to add sweetness... masarap boss! step by step tlaga... tas nagustuhan ng asawa ko! thank you idol! da best ka... nakakainspire! ❤️❤️❤️😘

Delicious! I also experiment how to improve the taste of this classic Bicol dish. I discover that when you add stalks of smash lemon grass, it will taste even better and aromatic. And saute the shrimp head with cooking oil and create a broth from it to add. It will add more flavor to the Laing. Need to cook the leaves longer when the leaves are more drier, that's the secret.

hello po..silent subscriber here..being a bicolana,we cook it in a different way po.preparing all the ingredients in the gata ,iboboil po siya in a medium heat fire while continously stirring,hindi po siya dapat istop sa paghalo until kumulo at lumapot ang gata then ihalo ang laing,limited lang po ang paghalo.kailangan po lumabas ang oil sa gata para masarap.lalo na kung may kasamang lemon grass at dahon ng libas.maliliit lang po ang slice ng pork at sili,the best po talaga

My mom's specialty. She cooked Iaing the best for us, missed her dearly. I'm not good at this but will share this recipe to my sister and ask her to cook on our Mom's 23rd death anniversary in March, just in time you shared this video to us, Idol. Perhaps, will use dried leaves which are available here in Eire. Thank you, again. I cooked pancit canton inspired by you. Just a snap, in 5 minutes all gone.

In our province in Sorsogon I remember my lola buying "pangalwang gata " in the market from where we boil the leaves of gabi then we drain it and press it in the strainer yun daw secret para walang kati kati. Then mix it up with base sauce with liempo shrimp and alamang..I miss my lola when I saw you Mayor cooked this recipe..

Just watching this hoping things settle down so me and my wife can go back to Ormoc for her daughter's college graduation next year. Love watching my wife vid chat with the parents. Everything is always so green n warm there especially Feb 27th I think. On the parents vid it was the most.blue sky I ever seen. Must have been the best day in like a.year there. Its cold here n my filipino wife is suffering from cabin fever. Snow world has nothing on a PA winter❄🌨 love your city. Holds true to the name the city of beautiful people. 🤔 now I'm missing the wet market down by the super cat port. And the huge bbq place at the small beach by the Don flepe(spelling) had my daughter baptized in the st Peter n Paul church in 2018. I miss that pork on a stick. How about a vid on that. The stuff you get at those little road side places alone the highway. 👍🍹

I like that you mentioned Bikol, I am from Nabua and I cook ginataan of that taro leaves with bunches of cili, so that it will be maanghang (spicy).

Hi Richard, am ur fan.. Noon pa when u & Sharon time pa... 😊. I try cook ur Laing with shrimp, grabe nasarapan ang asawa ko. Totoong masarap ang mga recipe mo, esp. when u are in tasting time na, unlike when I'm watching other recipe vlog, when I try it hindi nman masarap, kaya steady na ako sa mga recipe mo. I also try ur steak & pasta, & ur French toast, ur fresh herbs from ur garden... Wow talaga, sana may tanim din ako... but then wla Kc akong makuhang seeds.

People cook differently. I saute alamang before I put in the gabi. And don't mix right away para hindi makati. Let it simmer on low heat then mix later.

in your laing you don't put a little vineger so it will have a soury taste because in Aklan we seasoned it with vinegar but pethapsthis us how your recipe should be.
