Good video and job. I have had that happen a lot just put them to the side some where you can use them for something. I set my blade every time before I sharpen them. Mr. Roberts said clean them check for cracks and damage. Set them and sharpen. If it's cracked do not use it they can take out the belts or get wedged in log. Take care be safe and well.

So what is the cause of the tension in some logs? Is it just nature? Once you notice it, is there any way to salvage that log? Say maybe cut off the ends? Or do you just put them aside for other projects? That was a lot of questions! Anyway, as I started this video, one of my boys asked, "Is that guy a comedian?" I said, "No. He's a lawyer. But he's pretty dang funny, also!" Thanks for the video.

Lol! A lawyer! Im not an expert but i beleive most tension comes from a tree trying to counter grow a heavier lean or weight on one side of the tree. Im not sure about salvaging the whole log but i did manage to save some peices by cutting them shorter.
