Funny to hear Gonz with the young-person syndrome of pre-mature oldness already in 1999. "I'm old now, I just like to ride down hill and weave between people...." Fast forward 25 years and nah, he doing switch trayflips

@@estebanvazquez1524 Maybe he was trying to say that skateboarding has always been a sub culture and rebellious. The only people/companies that supported it were those that truly loved it and now it seems like a fad. All of these big companies who have been around for decades wanted nothing to do with it when it wasn’t popular and now all of a sudden that it’s televised and commercial everybody’s trying to cash in on it. It’s just money to them, but that’s not what it’s about to us.

I can totally relate to what he says here. My favorite thing to do in the world (for me, it's not skateboarding) is something I prefer to just get out and do rather than sitting around talking about it, writing about it, or marketing myself through photos and video and shit. It's just about being on my own and doing the thing that makes me love life. He's so much fun to watch, though. I'm glad he lets people film him.
