Great drill, have one myself, there is a way to select fan speed, but it’s not as simple as other settings & doesn’t go in sequence with other settings, have you got the RDS book? It is tricky to get the wings exactly the same depth & due to the movement of the tines in work there can be differences constantly in depth, so you have to work more on a average, than with a disc. Looks to be going well 👍

I’m torn on tine drills as you have to power harrow in front might as well use combi if powerharrowing anyway but tine drill cover a lot of ground

Could you put some removable weights to put on the wings of the drill? Know it would be a pain to move them to fold and unfold it but would maybe keep it all bit more of a consistent depth if that's the issue

Great buy there Rob good to see the video always look forward to your vids best farming vid on KZitem I'm not a farmer but I find them very interesting and informative. Can I ask you a couple of questions are the seed bags recyclable? cause you farmers must use loads of them. Can you drill all types of seeds with those drills wheat peas beans ? Keep them coming Rob.

Hiya Keith ! I wouldn’t go as far as the best KZitem channel !! But thank you !! And yes all types of seed with this drill 👍🏻👍🏻 the seed bags are not recyclable, we have to send them off to be disposed off , because it’s not deemed safe to reuse them 👀 yet in the states they use tote boxes that are plastic boxes that are recyclable and reused!! We are miles behind in this country

@@fenfarming562 not upset. I suggested it for all the reasons you just mentioned. Some years they aren't the best option some they are the only option. Neighbour has one and is drilling grass overseed with it the tine moves enough soil to stop the slug motorways you get with a disc drill. It's a case of having other, cheaper options when margins are slim. Everything has its place. I was just frustrated that you wouldn't listen to my point last year, still a fan so don't worry lol
