Thank you, Dominic. This is a such wonderful play and it inspired me to learn this history in depth and reflect on the world that we are now living in. I‘ve been to the show 20 times, no exaggeration, and I could always find something new or something I wasn't aware of. And your explanation for the setting still gave me a new angle. I agreed that David Tennant is the last person you would expect to wear a SS uniform and such a great cast. I hope we all could learn from it and don't let history repeat itself.

I've been wanting to restage this show ever since I had the privilege of directing one over 30 years ago. Such a brilliant script! Thanks for posting thisl what an interesting take on the show!

I’ve never heard of this play but this was on my feed. Took me a second to realize you weren’t just really adamant about this director being good and not terrible. 😂

Avoid the film adaptation with Viggo Mortensen; it's a very disappointing misfire.

I have 1 question. How, in the living hell did Tennant do the ending?

Not sure I am understanding your question . You mean emotionally? or..are you asking about staging or..?
