i love how there’s not even anything particularly “magic trick-y” about the gun. It’s just a normal gun with normal bullets (not even blanks!) that’s probably way overpriced because it’s in a magic shop. and aziraphale buys it anyway despite already owning a gun because he lives for the drama.

To be fair, it also comes with an already-fired bullet so that the bullet the magician hides in their teeth matches the already-fired version of the bullet they load into the gun. Also, the gun comes with a booklet on how to do the trick. So yes, it's an overpriced gun, but the preparations are done to make the trick work.

You have to love how obvious Crowley is about Aziraphale while trying to save face. Not just in front of Hell but him as well. He REALLY didn't want to fire that gun.

I loved the fact that they set most of this episode in Mrs Henderson's infamous theatre that operated during WWII's London, the film Mrs Henderson Presents is well worth a watch.

Something probably lost on the international audience (and some in the UK, too, I'm sure!). The man running the magic shop is an actual magician

Hey Jess, I'm all caught up on your Supernatural reactions, so I'm wanting to go back and watch your GOT or TWD reactions now, but I can't find them from the beginning...only from like, season 6 onward. Are they still on your channel and if so, where would they be?

@@sesskasays Maybe do a rewatch of the earlier episodes sometime? I haven't watched _Supernatural_ so far, but rewatch reactions can be interesting, especially if you include spoilers so you can comment on themes that run through a show. (You can also do them so you are careful of spoilers.) Just a thought, though, and your schedule is probably pretty full.

Why is is SO SEXY when Aziraphale says his name angrily and few octaves lower than usual? Every time I see that I think, "oh shit, Crowley, i see what you see in him 😏".

Youll recognise Mark Gatiss from Doctor Who but this was extra special for british comedy fans, the other two characters were played by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton who along with Mark make up 'The League of Gentlemen'. A legendary comedy group who have created some fantastic shows over the last 20 years together. Reece and Steve write and star in a show called Inside Number 9, a Black Mirroresque show centred around horror and the macabre instead of tech. Its one of the best written shows ive ever seen. Love seeing the three of them together again!

_As is often the case with magic illusions, there is no single way the bullet catch is performed. The method used varies from performer to performer. The gun or the bullet is rigged in some way; in the simplest form of the bullet catch, the gun is made to fire blanks, and the target through which the 'bullet' passes is set to destruct using a squib. All the performer must do is keep the bullet in his or her mouth until ready to produce it._ _If the gun is to be loaded in front of the audience, a wax bullet is loaded into the firearm. The spray of liquid wax from the barrel of the gun is enough to break the pane of glass. The magician uses misdirection to exchange the marked bullet with one made of wax and place the marked bullet into his or her mouth._ _Another method when doing the trick with a muzzle-loading gun that is loaded in front of the audience or by an audience member is to have a magnetic, rather than lead, bullet. A small magnet attached to the ramrod pulls the bullet back out immediately after loading. When the magician takes the rod, he or she removes the bullet and transfers it to his or her mouth. In this version of the trick, the gun is always modified, and only simulates firing a shot. This technique is virtually obsolete, however, because modern firearms do not use a ramrod._ *_Another method was to use an entirely real and lethal gun and bullet, and simply have the shooter intentionally miss the magician, who has previously collected the bullet to 'catch', as before. This procedure led to most early deaths from this trick and has since been abandoned._* _In cases where the bullet is marked by an audience member, the marked bullet is then transferred to the magician through sleight-of-hand, or similar markings are made on another bullet by an off-stage assistant, who then transfers it to the magician._ *_Chung Ling Soo (the stage name of the American magician William Ellsworth Robinson) was killed while performing this trick due to an equipment malfunction._*_ The gun used for the trick was set up to discharge a blank in the ramrod tube below the barrel. However, the gun malfunctioned and the bullet that had been loaded into the main barrel was accidentally fired into Soo's lung._ *_Bullet Catch,_* Wikipedia
