Wow such a great song and you make such a beautiful cover Justin. This blows me away. Neil Young has always been one of my favorite artists. But the more I listen to him the more I like him and the more I discover the depth in his songs. I need to add this to my repertoire of Neil Young songs. Its gonna be a struggle since the fingerpicking is a bit over my skill. But I must learn to play this song. Thanks Justin!

Keep the Neil Young coming man. I just realised my two favourite guitarists both have the last name Young, Angus and Neil. Sounds like a cool name for a covers band go from hey hey my my into Problem Child

Thanks for all of the wonderful lessons, Justin! I've been watching and learning from you for years. Do you think you could do a video some time on your recording setup for your intro covers? I'm very much an amateur and have been attempting some recordings with mixed results. I see the guitar's miced up, is the vocal a simultaneous live recording or overdubbed? Sounds fantastic, whatever you're doing!

Neil Young has created a lifetimes worth of great music, to bad he's a political train wreck! Awesome job on your cover of this tune Justin. I hope everything is going good for you. I think you're a great guy. Thanks for helping so many people with their guitar journey. I quit playing a few years back, but I still enjoy your covers. Peace..

I know exactly what you’re talking about! This probably won’t help you now, but what got me over that was having kids and playing in front of them. No ability to vocalise judgement at first, and when they do get old enough to talk they’ll probably love it. It was the same for singing, and now my daughter sings along with me when I play Daughters and it’s the best feeling. Also, just keep practicing, eventually the confidence will override the fear, don’t give up and you’ll get there, I promise 👍

I have the same problem. I guess you just have to do i a lot to get used to it. I guess what also helps is to play songs that you can by heart. I am going away this weekend with an old work colleague who is phenomenal at playing the guitar. He has a band who has released several records. So this is going to be a challange for me :)
@lacadam

It’s not an easy thing to do, the only real solution is just doing it more and more. I used to get really into my head about it but now after years of playing in front of people it’s way more natural. It’s kinda like a bandaid that you need pull off. Just make sure that the first time you do it, it’s in a low pressure situation. So your fiancé would be ideal. And try something very simple, start easy.
