Trucks kept what was essentially Jeff Beck to the extent that some phrases sounded like he was actually channeling Jeff but then he added his own flair and flourish to it to make it stand apart but equal to the original. In a few places it was almost like Trucks and Beck were both playing that one guitar at the same time. I've never heard an interpretation of a great piece where anyone has ever managed to do that. This was Beck playing, than Trucks paying Beck and then Beck & Trucks playing together. It was a bit freaky like some shapeshifting was going on right before our very ears. So hard to take a song that JB put such a stamp on and make it your own and still retain the purity. Derek Trucks is true soulfed musician. Awesome!

Women on bass, drums, and keys accompanying Trucks. That's not all too common these days and it's great to see more lady musicians on the stage!!

Unbelievable. Outstanding tribute to JB. So much emotion in Derek's playing. Brings tears of joy to my eyes.
