I worked with an amazing team on several GoodDr episodes, for this series of shots I was provided a scan of an on-set prosthetic, and perfectly tracked cameras and reference geometry.. I took that data, re-topologized and extracted base textures from it. Next I hand sculpted geometric detail, and used the base texture from the scan data as a starting point to develop more natural textures. I developed an SSS shader including blood and fluids and lit the shots to match the backplate, and finally rendered the shots along with all necessary AOVs for compositing.
