It's such a nightmare, it drives me loopy! Remember there is no PD charging on the GoPro, so if you tried charging with a fast charger, it'll sit at 0%. The DJI Action 3 on the other hand, fast PD charging to 80% in 18 mins, and it holds the charge incredibly well, after a month it's usually at 96% on mine. For example, my DJI OA3 - which I really do like. as you see they say it get 160 minutes, which is 2.67 hours. Shooting 4k/60 I get 1.5 hours which is what about 56% of what they say? And I have 4 NEW batteries and the story is the same on each of them. But not to pick on DJI My new Ford 150 truck is stated to get 17/21 mpg. What do I get? 13 city IF I drive like a grandma. If I use sport mode and drive normal it is more like 10 mpg. and on and on and on... goes the marketing lies. Or how about pharmaceutical company lies? ....don't get me started. It's a nightmare, what is up with that. This does not happen with my DJI or Insta360 cameras, they all hold charge perfectly.

Wow! Gopro BLOWS! I wish i had done some research before buying a Max but i really trusted them, the problems could very much F up your shot.....insta360 or dji for the next one i guess.

They didn't have the best batteries, that's true! Insta360 and DJI seem to win on that one.

@@PhillipSkraba the worst part is their app/ editing software, so crappy and mine also turned itself off a few times. It's kinda annoying when you use it for recording things that could be the last thing you do.

My gopros don't do that. Gopro 11 and 12.

GoPro's are junk. There is NO reason to buy when They destroy the image post processing And any samsung ultra Delivers better video and photos then at least the go pro hero ten. So why even invest in it? I have a 10 & 11 I gave to my kids.

I wouldn’t even give my kids a Samsung 😂 GoPros are very good cameras, they just need some work.

Sent one back now my second i have been up its ass constantly checking to make sure its alive. And now this one s DEAD plugged in still wont turn on. 400 to 500 dollar porduct and a camera from walmart for 30 dollars is LITERALLY more reliable. Its unacceptable and i am done with gopro. Never have i encountered such a failure of a product. It should be illegal for them to be selling these to people.

I have to say my Hero 12 holds up pretty well, much, much better than the Hero 11. I hope for the Hero 13 they design new batteries or a completely new operating system.

@PhillipSkraba mine wont even turn on when plugged in with or without battery in there. Is that even normal?

That is not normal, no. They should replace that for you.

Gopros are total garbage (still using one but need to switch over to something else). Overheating, battery bloating and depletion, sometimes records without sound... list goes on and on. Total crap

@PhillipSkraba I like the usability and interface. Settings etc all decent... it's the hardware that's giving me major issues. Think I might look into the Action 3 or 4. Any feedback on them?

@@PhillipSkraba It could be the replacement batteries I bought on Amazon still researching why I'm suddenly having the issue. GoPro original batteries are so expensive.
