I just purchased a Hero 6 this week. Your tutorials are invaluable! It is a great little camera and the settings are easy to access and change on the go. Makes my photography experience out on the field quite painless.

Hey There, Love your Comparison, Can you please Suggest me some thing I Generally Do music Videos, Do you think Hero 6 will be a good idea to use with my Setup for 4K and Slow Motion, How do you Compare with the Quality? If a footage from DSLR and Hero 6 Both Added up and made a Music Video will it provide some good Quality ? Thanks In Advance PS I havn't use any of Action Camera Before Only DSLR Planning to Buy Hero 6 Only For My Music Video Shoot as it has 4K @ 60 fps and 1080 Slow mo , and ofc i'll buy gimble ,but first need to make sure about if quality if up to mark,

Hi, in my opinion the 4k image quality is good and even the 1080/120 is great. But you will notice the difference to a dslr: fish eye distortion and over-sharpening are two of the reasons. In my latest video (cinematic sequence), I used DSLR, drone and Gopro footage to make a short cinematic clip. Check it out to decide if this could work for you!

Thank You for another awesome tutorial! Exposure in your skiing video's are done perfectly to my eye. I'm going to go with your settings with my new Hero 7 Black. Do you normally use ND filters or do you shoot with Auto? I totally understand the 180 degree rule for manual shutter speed along with matching other video to other cameras/camcorders. I'm just curious to what you normally use in your video's here on KZitem. You do an awesome job in explaining everything very well. Always looking forward to your next video! Thanks again!! 👍😊

Thx mate! For my KZitem videos I normally do not use ND-Filters on my GoPro. Therefore the shutter speed is much too high most of the times. I change settings and frame rate all the time when skiing for example. Therefore I just set the shutter to Auto.

Hi who is better gopro hero6 or sony fdr x3000?
@MountMediaChannel

Hi, I personally prefer the Hero6 - imo better usabilty and higher frame rates. But the Sony has some advantages: optical image stabilization and probably cleaner 1080p.

What Settings you recommend for Dirt Bike Riders

Hi Miguel, I would use 1080/120 because of slow motion and image stabilization. 4k/30 or 4k/24 if you don't need slowmo. Protune settings like in this video.

Hi, I would recommend to use 24fps and not a high frame rate. Then I would fix the ISO max to 800. I would not go higher - the image quality suffers too much. And always look for decent artificial light sources! Hope this helps!

I ask a GoPro agent for help on my new Hero 7 as the video is not clear and he sends me this link, what a waste of time dealing with these agents. GoPro doesn't really care as long as they sell the product. I think I should give it back.

I don't get it. You say how it is important to have a shutter speed twice the amount of FPS and then you set it to Auto. Makes no sense to me. When you set it to Auto the GoPro could take a shutter speed which is not twice the FPS and your recordings look shit.
