When Luka went out in the game last night with a minute and a half left in the third quarter, I thought, this is it. They had like a seven or eight point lead, something like that. Boom, Kyrie. Added to the lead. I knew the game was over right there. It must have felt so good for Luka to be able to catch that breath and watch Irving hold it down.

So simple, so true. No one has ever won the finals with a usage of over 36%. Before Kyrie, that was were Luka was. You can't get through the playoffs like that.

Interesting to see how Dante Exum plays out? Glued to the bench, throw him on for a few seconds in odd spots and then pull him a few seconds later..
@iamchaunceman

Kidds got him on a short leash. Kinda like hardaway. But he’s still better and should play. It’s always matchups, exum may be important against the Celtics.

I mean why team USA didn't pick their best point guard (not disrespecting those that were picked, just saying)... I don't know why Ky has the level of hate that he does. He's been nothing but professional in his media appearances and even wearing a friggin suit in many. I could see why they'd pick the number 1 defensive PG and the number 1 "pass first" PG, over Kyrie... But, you have to think about the level of maturity in Ky, as basically the best complementary guard... and give credit to his D, too... But late in game... Who was the guy? LeBron or Kyrie? So then, if Haliburton is injured... do we get Irving on team USA?

If I ever have a child who looks to have a promising career in ball and is tall like me I’m sending him to Europe. The US pigeon holes kids at 10 so you never learn back court skills. It’s more about the coaches and AAU leagues.
@zahir2942
3 ай бұрын
Its hard in Europe, at 17-18 you finish your "amateur" career, you not even not done with high school and you at practice with 27-32 year olds with kids and that are like 6'7 250 meanwhile you like 6'3 165ish or whatever. In that transition from junior to senior basketball only maybe 1 out of 1000 kids really makes it, thats how tough it is. USA has a good system with college, first you play against your age group or the oldest senior is maybe like 22-23 still close to your age. Also you can get a degree from basketball anyways not everybody gonna live from sports

Goran actually told the truth about luka, he doesn't like to share the ball. He gets his assists because he has the ball so much, imagine if he didn't pass? He's more focused on making highlight plays and putting up numbers than playing game the right way, until than he will never win it all

He needs to get back to his bread and butter. Like when Slovenia won the eurobasket before luka even got to the nba. Goran was still their best player but luka was elite already.maybe he needs to tone down his ego and play more like jokic. Jokic makes a decision. Doesn’t dribble the ball do this and that
