I love the high visibility lining on the xpac rucks. I watched a GR2 26L review by JTinseoul and although I love the bag unless he opened up the pack fully you couldn’t see jack inside it was all black. In low light or dark areas you’ll be fumbling around inside the bag to find stuff. Give me high visibility for my bags whenever possible.

I really do love the high viz lining as well. Very easy to see everything.

I like it. I don't like how noisy they are. Appreciate the video! Keep it up.

They ARE different compared to the cordura versions but that sound doesn't bother me. I've been using the bullet for EDC and it always surprises me how light it is.

Struggling with backpacks that hold the right amount of liters but are too long for my torso. Should torso length be the first thing to consider when choosing an EDC pack (def doing it as I choose a hiking pack. I got measured)? I want a 19-20" but my torso is 17". Too long = pain. Look forward to your guidance.

The GR2s might be perfect. They add the liters in the front compartment. So the 26L GR2 fits like a 21L GR1. The 34L GR2 fits like a 26L GR1.

@@JBOutside1 just got one for travel. Great minds think alike. I was thinking about getting a GR1 21L for every day because I don't need as much capacity...

@@JBOutside1 so I guess your answer is torso length matters - even when it comes to EDC?
@JBOutside1

@@seechangenyc280 I think that will work. You'll just lose the organization that the GR2 offers but I like my GR1 for EDC for sure.

@@seechangenyc280 And torso length does matter of course, just matters more if it's on your back more often for longer stretches. If it's in the car seat or sitting next to your desk more than on your back then it's not so critical.

How does the sidewall of the bag, single VX42 layer compare to that of the 1000d cordura? Does it feel chintzy, does the material feel heavy/ thick/ structured or does it feel like a thin trader joes tote or something? Is it relatively rigid due to the shortness of the sidewalls? Does it holds up against its own weight? I like it but I like heavy duty, i understand the material very well, 420d nylon face layer, polyester x ply, PET film, 50d Taffeta backing.. can you elaborate on feels. I understand it is hard to explain. I feel that the 400d hi-vis stack of materials must feel solid..

The sidewall is more rigid in the dyneema bag compared to the cordura versions for sure. They used the thickest dyneema sheets from what I’ve read and in practice the bag holds shape must better. I’ve used it as a daily driver for a while now and I haven’t noticed and break-in really where it would get floppy over time. Very solid material in my experience

what are your thoughts on the durability of the vx21 on the bullet vs the vx42 on the gr2?

Not concerned. I like the weight savings personally and I expect it to hold up just fine. I do like the heavy fabric on the GR2 for long term durability
