When I visited London, I remember seeing the Grenson triple welted shoes. It got Grenson on my mind, and I picked up a pair of shoes later on my visit. Sadly, I found out that not all Grenson shoes are made in Northampton. They have Archie models made in both Northampton and India. I don't know if they've made the difference clearer since my visit.

Could you do a review on the triple welt? Or just show them? I’m curious on how yours turned out. I’m kinda disappointed with mine.

@@Kudusole Not all bad news. Bought 2 pairs of them online archie & curt both in pebble grain leather. They behave differently from other brands pebble grain leather shoes that I own. Almost no creases, they just bend. Leather feel like they have put heavy coating on top of them & it is impossible to put a shine on them. It’s like corrected grain almost (they’re full grain, Grenson confirmed it). I was under the impression Grenson will use leather from weinheimer since they make the best pebble grain leather IMO. Crockett & Jones use them. I do not know where Grenson source their pebble grain from but I’ve seen meermin and sanders use the same leather. Their shoes retail for around half the price of Grenson maybe? Think about it. Cheers
