Marner is gonna be a good one. Reminds me so much of Patrick Kane. So dangerous every shift.

Such an exciting young team the Leafs have, first time in history there is such pure skill and youth on the roster. Its going to be a joy watching Matthews, Marner, Nylander and Rielly as standout young players, Hyman is also impressing so far. Plus Soshnikov, Kapanen etc with the Marlies who will get called up throughout the season.

Omg such an amazing skill set of a Mitchy.....I had so much fun to wach when he dangled arnd the Bruins in a few shifts...his skating is unbelievable along with his hands and creativities... Like I said before he has potential to be more than Kane....lets go back to his draft year that people assumed the leafs to trade the pick... I believed the Leafs would trade the pick if Marner was off the board.... Thank you Arizona..

Have to laugh at all the know-nothings (many of whom have never watched CHL hockey live) who said Marner was too small. I have watched Marner play every game for the Knights and watched the OHL for 40 years and the ignorance of some hockey fans is astounding. Watch out for the Kitchener Rangers' Bracco who will be with the Leafs in a few years...another small but dynamic player.

Darth Jar Jar Binks I agree. Most inside the GTA have never seen an OHL game live (and much of the media, too). I remember the same things being said about Patrick Kane. Knights took the [K]night off against Erie last night. I guess they figured they beat Windsor and Erie would just roll over. Dale will not be a happy soybean farmer today ;)

Turd Muffin I said the same thing. His size meant nothing. His skill makes up for the size. Martin St. Louis faced the same criticism.

Matthews goal production has gone done from a projected 320 plus goals to only 160 plus goals this season...the sky is falling (yes, I'm takin' to you Steve Simmons who once said about Patrick Kane and his draft year...not a very exciting draft..."whose this Patrick Kane from the Knights...Leafs are better off waiting for next year to tank?!").

Lol Toronto has 3 years to win the cup, good luck resigning all these kids. Matthews-8 mil+ Marner-6 mil+ Nylander-4mil+ Zaitsev-4mil+ Reilly-7mil+ Those are my predictions for how much they will cost to resign :P not even a leafs fan but they have a lot of young studs. Probably missed some too. That's a decent starting 5 there though if they do resign

Tell me I am wrong please. It felt like Babcock thru Marner and Brown under the bus. Matthews invisible witch is good if he is not potting them. Unless that is his hostile attitude then ok. Nylander coasted. Goalie good, Martin let himself be ragged dolled. Chara could have at least thrown a punch or 2. They must have been new gloves. They came off so fast. No chance to work them in i suppose.
