I really like your non professional approach to trouble shooting. I mean that in all sincerity. Sometimes that’s the best way to learn. I just bought a 1973 Bally Champ and aside from the playing field lighting up it’s dead. This is my first machine and don’t even know the name of the parts yet. I did, however, receive a schematic and repair manual with it. I subscribed to your channel and will be referring back to this video when I start to troubleshoot my champ. Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.

Steve Young Pinball Resource has reproduction coin doors and just about everything to restore a 1960's era Gottlieb. I restored a Target Pool that started out as a $5 junker. I used lacquer thinner to remove the factory clear lacquer on the playfield, what left me with a pristine playfield underneath. I made stencils of all the cabinet graphics and repainted the graphics, what was quite a project

This is a great video and great machine to play. Not very many around. I have the same machine. I have a question about an issue I have with mine. My machine is not resetting properly on startup. Any advise or can I send you more details?

Nice. You're right about it being a sacrilege putting Bally plugs in a Gottlieb tho! Funny how these 60's playfields seem to hold up much better than the 70's ones. Also, although I'm more of a 70's Gottlieb guy, Roy Parker's artwork was lovely.

Great video. For your apron I'd suggest putting an automotive clear coat over it with new decal in place.

great video!! for that much work, the video had to be long. I learned quite a bit from watching this. you hit on a lot of areas that I myself wasn't really sure how to tackle. awesome job, looks great! who did you contact for repairing or getting new backglass?

Flipn Fargo thanks for the compliment. I bought mine from Ronald Webb. This is a reproduction but it looks like it's NOS stock. The funny thing is with all the work I put into it it's also my favorite machine. I think it's because I put a lot of Blood Sweat and Tears in this machine and how I ran into so many different problems that I have ever had never ran into before. That crazy magnetize coil really threw me for a loop.
