Honestly, I love the imperfections of the live performance. It feels more like he's pouring his soul out to the person he wrote this for. If I were having this talk to my ex you would hear the emotion in my voice. Similar to Jessie Reyez live performance of DO U LOVE HER? or Demi Lovato's Stone Cold. The recorded version of course kicks ass but the live version has the uncut raw emotion in it.. If he performed this like Bieber then I probably wouldn't have connected to it the way I do. This is art folks. Brilliant.

Am i the only one who finds his imperfect singing in this performance charming? There's a lot of emotion and personality in it

OMG, the passion. U don't see that anymore. These kids epitomized the essence of a 12 yr marriage that ended up in a horrible divorce (he cheated). The 1st time I heard this song I went into the bathroom away from my girls & just cried. U r artists. U got into this field to touch people; well u really did. Thank you.

Thanks guys. It's all good. It's been 23 yrs. now. I guess it's true what doesn't kill u makes u stronger & smarter... never got involved again. I've learned with divorce & bad breakups... Nobody wins, everybody loses. This too shall pass.

@@alexitoe30 That isn't true at all. How can you say people from one continent appreciate a live performance better than others? Everyone still paid to go see certain musicians, I'm pretty sure people from all continents are equally appreciative.

I’m a VERY CRITICAL singer of live artists and do not play about how I support them after I see them live. He did a WONDERFUL job and she came and KILLED it after him. Period.

He reminds me of sting in a way’s, his range, style of forming his words with his range of notes. It’s hard to sing a song with as much range change as this song has. His control is awesome great talent.
