One of my all time favourite grooves was created in 1981 at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas by Sly Dunbar (Drums), Sticky Thompson (Percussion) and Robbie Shakespeare (Bass) with Monte Brown, Barry Reynolds and Mao Chung sharing Guitar duties while Wally Badarou worked the Prophet 5 for the Alex Sadkin / Chris Blackwell produced "Pull Up To The Bumper" by Grace Jones.
I always felt that all commercially available versions needed to have the break extended, so here it is: A longer intro with lots of percussion breakdowns before the vocals come in and the Party version starts at 3:56.

KZitem's copyright monitoring software has incorrectly identified a recording by "Stranger" called "In a Dark Room" as administered by The Orchard Music as the source of the audio from 1:29 onwards. I have not used this recording anywhere in this video and in fact had never even heard of it before I was served the copyright notification. Having researched it, Stranger's In a Dark Room itself actually samples Grace Jones' song extensively.
