I watched all the way through to see where it was going. However, you started the cut all wrong. You were trying to achieve a graduated bob, but you started the bottom with layers instead of graduation. You started by pulling everything straight back, which is correct, but you need to angle your fingers in at a 45 degree angle, not a 90 degree angle. Graduation is a buildup of weight. Layering collapses the shape. Bringing it straight back at a 90 degree angle is layering not graduating. That’s why the bottom of the cut was flipping out. Also, you should try working on your sectioning. Clean sections & groom the hair that isn’t getting cut smoothly away so you can get a clean section easily. And try not using the clock references. That makes it sound more confusing than it is. Just wanted to give you some pointers to be helpful.

@Mikeybuzz10 great helpful comment, but did you realise it was reply to another person's comment, rather than a comment on it's own? So, Maureen may not ever see it (if she does look at comments from older videos).

What type of haircut would be good for a ovolong/Oval face with fine hair?

Something with a few layers, side part and some type of bang would work well. 😁 cheers
