One of the greatest band line ups ever. I was 16 when this came out. No matter what Graham B did - in the end he was the voice of Rainbow. I got laid to the sound of Night Games and now that I'm 56 I still blast Rainbow out on my 300W car stereo around London, CV-19 or not. Kids need to be educated.

'Night Games' was a hit for GB in the spring of 1981, reached a high of No 6 in the singles chart - I pulled out that Vertigo 45 and played it last weekend, first time in many years. Very distinctive voice, instantly recognisable, also, as that of Rainbow's 'Since You Been Gone' (1979), both songs are rock classics.

Here’s the Lyrics See the man in the busy street? He’s almost incomplete He takes his pleasure in strange ways. And the lady in the library? She’s just like you and me You wouldn’t know her at all. She takes the train up to the great big city She knocks the door and steps right in He’s just a fool that some would like to pitty They work it out in the house of Sin Night Games They play for their night games They weren’t two lovers, they don’t use names It says in the rules It’s strictly for the cools to play their Night games They play for their night games Always play one last frame Games of the night Every room has a different scene Everyone has a different dream They make it any way they choose You can get anything you need Anyone and the price agreed And nothing left for you to loose. It’s Entertainment for the lost and lonely And cabaret for those who dare The last attainment of the one and only It’s got to be if it gets you there! Night Games They play for their night games They weren’t two lovers, they don’t use names It says in the rules It’s strictly for the cools to play their Night games They play for their night games They weren’t two lovers, they don’t use names It says in the rules It’s strictly for the cools Night games They play for their night games They weren’t two lovers, they don’t use names It says in the rules It’s strictly for the cools to play their Night games They play for their night games Always play one last frame Games of the night

davec629 He did rock the denim 'n' leather style on MSG's Assault Attack a year later, in 1982. Unfortunately, that didn't work-out too well for him, as he busted-out of his too-tight jeans at what was the first (and only) show he ever did with MSG, at which he was a complete drunk mess, (rightfully) prompting Michael Schenker to fire him immediately afterwards. After that, Graham Bonnet created Alcatrazz and never wore denim OR leather on stage ever again. :-)
