I found it works well especially in zones that require single, barbless hooks.

Love fishing the Grand, it has some good brown trout population. Like you mentioned, it’s closed as of Oct 1st. You got some nice browns my friend and a couple bass to go along. As for the skull, looks like a carnivore with those big fangs up front. I’m going to say maybe a cat. Left you a big 👍.

East of Fergus? Drove over that bridge today I think. Go east up from Bellwood lake I saw a huge bass bigger than 17" swimming over 100 s of crayfish. Go up stream more and there's big pike . Great river , too bad 30 sewage treatment plants use it for effluent

@@izaakwaltonflyfishingclub For sure, I am in the Hamilton area so not far at all. I met someone on the Grand who was Euro Nymphing, just drifting a small fly, it seemed really productive. Is that a common technique for the Grand?
