Refreshing to see wheelhouse windows you can actually see out of in a super yacht, unlike the severely raked or lent back windows that obscure the view whilst underway on, what seems like 70%+ of most modern designs.

I think this was Graeme Hart's first yacht, Ulysses. If I remember correctly, there was a fire onboard at the yard during build. Graeme brought it off the insurance company and rebuilt it. It was moored in the Viaduct in Auckland for years. Then he built 3 more yachts, each larger than the last. each time selling the previous one. It's a lot roomer than I thought it would be, looked smaller standing next to it.
@MasterChief37

Room for 14 crew + a Captain. There is a million dollars a year before you even start an engine.
@timrutkevich3222

Much more than a million a year for the crew. The minimum monthly for ocean going experienced captain is 12-14k a month. Then experienced deck officers, engineers...
@TheJerrydon575
3 жыл бұрын
@@timrutkevich3222 If this ship was used for personal use only it would be way less. In a yacht this size you would have a captain and a first mate, just for navigation. You would have two engineer's/mechanics. And have at least 3 chef's. Those would be the brunt of your cost. Then you would have 11 server's, house keepers, and deck hands. If you use it for personal use only these people would be put on a retainer. Putting a crew on retainer is FAR cheaper then having them live on the boat. Now if you chartered out this ship that would be a different story. Then you would be talking close to a Million to keep a crew staffed.
@timrutkevich3222

@@TheJerrydon575 of course if it is personal use, and you just use it in Mediterranean the crew cost will be way less. But if you want to use this boat to the fullest, and go exploring the world, then you need full crew

Was the ship built in 2006 or was it refitted in 2006 from a pre existing trawler? Love this vessel. So much gray and black interiors though. Why? The owner must have been a dark individual who liked residing in rooms that resemble darkness itself. This said, much of the design is amazing, such as the multi level open area with the interesting floor tile shaped design below. I am torn between darkness and light. I am almost convinced this dark interior is fun. Not quite. Love the previous owner's taste in ships and picking a real ship to house his yacht structure. Very impressive. The sharp bow no doubt can ply big waves like a needle through cloth.

The guy presenting this video probably had several drinks in all of them...right before this video started. I imagine him wishing he could buy this boat and have a bar next to his bed, one over the tub, another next to the toilet, one in the bow pulpit, another on the jet ski, a sliding bar on the stairs. If I could ever buy a boat I would never buy one from him. He just seems like in every video, he couldn't give a care about anything.

Wasn’t this the boat that was seized for not paying fuel bill? Think it was originally called Force Blue if i am not mistaken. And then the owner was sent to prison for fraud, and then he originally bought it for $50-60 million and it sold on auction after the seizer for only $7 million after sitting inpounded for like a year. Doesn’t suprise me it would then be up for sale under a new name. Or it could be coincidence, but really looks like the same boat, though i have never seen the interior of force blue. These boats are beautiful but i would rather have one i could afford to own. I could not even afford to sell this boat, mean how long it would take to keep it up until i could sell it. Would there prefer a 55-70 ft Sailing Cataraman or Tri-hull i could afford to own and live on.
