A pear jam recipe from my Grandma’s writings.
8lbs of pears, peeled and cut up.
6lbs of sugar
4 lemons, peeled and cut up.
1/2 cup of candied ginger root, I used homemade.
1 cup of water.
I halved this recipe for the video here are the times.
I combined the ingredients and cooked down a hour and a half. Then filled into pint jars and hot water bathed 10 minutes.
