Maurice got criticized for being the "engine guy" but he was ahead of his time, nowadays you have the 'evaluation bar' in every game. But Maurice seems professional and I don't think he would care too much about MC being testy. Chess is a game of nerves and as a GM he knows that.

Obiviously a very biased take becasue he analysed the whole game for hours with the help of the engine as a commentator, so he saw every single innacuracy. He failed to consider that maybe Magnus thought the game went pretty smooth from his POV. Nothing special here, just a justified frustration when you just finish a game you thought it was nice and immediately after, someone (much weaker than you) criticizes it

People like Magnus say they love that chess is coming to the people and playing in front of a live audience was incredible, yet don't want people who just aren't at their level ask questions that are for the general public. You cant exoect everyone to enter the chess world, you as a GM you have to be able to take a step back and realise that when someone says, looks like the game didnt go as smoothly as it could have, it just means the evaluation bar dropped at some point and Magnus didn't equal stockfish. Considering they're supposed to be clever, they dont think too hard

In one stream someone asked for stock recommendation and he answered that he once bought TSM (Taiwan Semiconductor) and has made a fortune from it.
