Nikki B: A completely bald person would not likely be eligible for a hair transplant because they would not have enough donor hair elsewhere. @@rayray8687 I'm thinking your last message was for someone else. But I am curious what "drugs" you think he was on?? If you're referring to the drugs he was stealing from the hospital, that drug (it was only one) was propofol. That's an anesthetic drug. My guess is he was selling it to someone. You can EASILY die from it so I doubt he was administering it to himself as it cannot be administered that way. There isn't a "high" you get from it. The only drug this man had was his porn & Silvie addiction. Also, on the balding subject, if a man doesn't have enough hair on the horseshoe part (shape created by remaining hair on sides of head & around the bottom back of head) to obtain a transplant, there are many other options nowadays to still give the appearance of a full head of hair. Granted, it can be costly and does require maintenance, but it is absolutely possible and looks completely real.

So, the issue are the people. In this case, three people got murdered by what? Not porn. A very disturbed guy armed with a gun and there you have it again full circle.

Love the prosecuting attorney’s asides: “‘Get a job’ … reasonable.” Not too frequent and a nice way to keep the jury’s attention. And the occasional dig at Grant is appreciated, can’t imagine it hurt with everyone who had to look at the defendant’s slow lizard blinks for days on end, knowing what he did to his family. Pointing out Grant’s being transfixed by Sylvie’s photo, and saying he (prosecutor) knew the jury noticed it because he himself noticed it, was a really effective moment. Grant looked caught out and even more fisheyed than usual. Finally - the prosecutor in the Halderson case has maybe the best opening statement I’ve ever seen, but this is a very strong closing. I like that this prosecutor sounds a bit like Billy Crystal, too, kind of a smart/quick but not obnoxious or hard to understand way of speaking, lots of tone variation to get his points across. pretty sure your math is off. It was 90 tokens per minute so 5400 per hour. Which is more or less $600 per hour, you pay that much and you have *almost* 1 hour. But he really though he had a mutual love relationship with a chick from another country that he met online and pays...smh... The sad thing is this girl is probably living lovely in Bulgaria with her real boyfriend. And all because of this guy. This guy killed his family, so a girl he never met can live lovely with her family. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SUN RAYS IN FLORIDA. Florida produces too many crazies.

Maybe it would've worked, but then it would just be an easy point for the defense to attack. If Grant had confessed, the defense may even be able to have it thrown out by saying saying it was a coerced confession... and they would have a good point. The detectives were already telling him all kinds of lies.
@AMunoz-rh9cz

Good idea! A photo would certainly trigger him to at least some degree. They would just have to debate and plan the best wording to accompany that. Maybe something along the lines of " I understand that you loved this woman, that you felt that she cared for you too and that your family JUST DIDN'T GET IT AND DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THAT!" Said with a sad, understanding but adamant, emotional tone, perhaps shake their head at the end of the phrase. The webcam woman had already used this kind of approach on him ("It's all about you") very successfully.

Jackie Ellabella Pathetic is the one word I'd use to describe this defendant. The judge is typing notes from the trial. Cody was his ride or die. Cody paid for an all expenses trip for them both to go to Japan - the home of anime, one of Grant's main interests. When Grant stole medication and was fired from his nursing job, Cody paid the employer off so that the charges would be dropped and Grant wouldn't go to prison. His whole family stepped up for Grant again and again. Yet, he sat in that police interrogation room and - with a straight face - implied that Cody murdered both their parents. Wow. Complete danger to society. I'm thankful he's no longer walking around free. Does anyone know if the cam girl, Sylvie has spoken about all of this? Meh. I disagree. Jason seems to have been mostly left out of what happened, both the incident itself and the discussion. It's all Grant, mother, father, bio brother.
