'Noone likes to be taken for granted,' he hissed at his opponent. 'Do grant me one single favour, won't you'? And my soul will be appeased.' she beseeched her long-time companion, hoping to save him from harm.

Nice explanation plus a lot of examples. Other youtube teachers would discuss this word for only 5 sec, then move on to another word, way to short to memorise words and meaning

@@flawyerlawyertv7454 I'll definitely check what you so kindly posted. Thank you! Off the top of my head (and I could be wrong I'm no native) I can say "I ate a few apples before going to bed" (for example) but I can't say (if not colloquially maybe) " I ate few apples before going to bed" unless I add something like "too" so the phrase becomes " I ate too few apples before going to bed?"... But I'm sure your link will prove me wrong any day!

So your sentence would become (for how I understand English):" I grant that this video is good but unfortunately it lasts just/only a few minutes... Have a good one!!
