Looks good, particularly from the top lock, the locks look very well maintained don’t they. I’m moored at Barton Turn, with Notts only a days navigation away… would love to go through there one day maybe…nice follow up to your last one. All that temporary works around lock 13 looks promising. I’ve worked on the rail at Bottesford and Grantham…

Thank you. They are making very good progress with the restoration. The big challenge will be reconnecting with the river Trent and the centre of Grantham as that will mean crossing the A52 and the A1.

Another Brilliant video it really is a delight discovering your videos 😊 Can I ask how many have you filmed and uploaded to KZitem so I can watch them all. You must do a lot of research into the abandoned canals and those that are being hopefully restored in your local areas Are you in touch with the various Societies? Even though I am retired I am subscribed with yearly fees to 3 Societies right now as I feel it right to help the brilliant people doing this important work to preserve our past Give up the good work 😊

I have about 50 videos so far but not all of them relate to canals. The quality of my early ones aren't as high as my more recent, my narration is more relaxed than it used to be. I do research them, I like to understand the history and share it.
