I prefer to oil my hair about 30 minutes to an hour prior to washing it. Makes hair very easy to detangle & leaves it OH SO SOFT!!!
@Tiffystyles
Жыл бұрын
I’ve actually never tried that. I just started using this prepoo detangling product which makes me love wash days lol.

Based on the kind of dandruff, may be best to not use oil directly on the scalp. - Seborrheic Dermatitis diagnosed by a dermatologist and said never use oil on scalp and she was right.

My wife can’t get it to wash out of her hair. Any suggestions? It’s leaving this white substance..
@Tiffystyles
Жыл бұрын
White substance ? Did she use this oil alone, or with other products? I’d suggest 2 things| she can try either or : 1.use a clarifying shampoo. 2. Use Apple cider vinegar as a rinse. Dilute the apple cider vinegar with water and use it as a rinse after she shampoos her hair. It helps remove grease and residue.

Ok so help me out sis! Lol. When u use grapeseed oil, are u still able to refresh the hydration without washing it out? Like I think I'm realizing that when I use castor oil I have to wash more often otherwise it seems like the castor keeps hydration out as much as it does in. Does that make sense?
@Tiffystyles
2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Well I normally add these oils if needed during the week by spritzing water first and then adding it. I wash my hair weekly, but My hair is good during the week. Castor oil is pretty thick. If you use it often during the week then it can leave a cast on your hair which may block out any hydration your hair has. I hope I answered, I had to Google a bit because I was a lil confused lol.

@@Tiffystyles thanks! I've been researching so much and only recently found something that said castor can make ur hair dry cuz it seals so well (if u use it wrong). Yes, u solidified my answer. I've been looking for an oil that will seal my hair but not block all moisture from getting back in. Ill try the grapeseed. Thank you!
