In a matter of seconds I hit the subscribe button. This is a strict class of architecture. We think that Parametric Architecture is something new. But it isn't. Grasshopper is teaching us about the past and what was done throughout mathematical reasoning.

Hi Kummer, thank you for your comment! We can't agree with you about Grasshopper is teaching us about the past. It is definitely one of the best time-saving tools for architects. Personally, my productivity increases exponentially as I elevate Grasshoppers skills, which saved me tons of time in different design phases. Also, if you scratch beneath the surface you will see that Grasshopper's potential is expanding every day with the new tools and plugins. We're glad you watch our videos. There will be more to come! :)

Thanks for the clear and concise tutorial - and thank you so so much for explaining the functions of each parameter added into grasshopper in such detail. Point of improvement would be to show the entire grasshopper-panel, as it was a bit confusing at times what parameters connected to which. Thanks again :)

Great tutorial. Using Frames (planes) instead of EvaluateCurve makes the script very flexible, because it can be used in any geometry, of any direction (instead of offsetting in ie. Global Y axis). To make it even more flexible, you could use Sections of source Surfave and Surface Normals, i think.

thank you very much for this useful video, I have one question regarding the elevations, what if I want to do that on the 4 elevations, should I only have 4 [list item] with 4 different sliders? in the same script. thanks in advance

Great tutorial as usual! How would you inverse this extrusion so the "balconies" go inwards rather than outwards ? Btw become a pateron! :)

Thank you! If you want to get inverse extrusion, at 9:53 you can simply add the component Reverse Vector after you set vector amplitude. Please let me know if it works for you :)

dumb question how you made the panel for the domain of the graph "0 to 1" I made a panel with the text 0 to 1 but when I feed it it gives me a red indication

Can you make the lines in which the balconies cascade straight rather than curved?
@HowtoRhino

Sure. I suggest using polyline as an attractor instead of graph mapper.

Hi, how would I apply the wave to all 4 sides of the shape?

Thanks for the tutorial by the way it's very helpful for my project in the middle east

One possible way would be creating one side, then orient it on three other sides and join all polylines placed on the same height.
