Hi, is there a way in which I can change the size of the mesh plane to an exact length? When I try to input values the chain breaks...

Mate awesome video! One question you didn't flatten the inputs for Kangaroo 2. Does the newer version handle list inputs better?
@DanielChristev
6 жыл бұрын
Yes, in the new kangaroo, you do not need to flatten the inputs, that is handled automatically inside the solver.

I am super clear but can you explain me the timer equation x%2 and its output. how will it be 0 and 1 always??? there will be a value if x is constantly increasing right. help me...

The % expression, modulo as it's called is a really useful way to loop a value. All it does is returns the remainder after a division operation. For instance, 2/2 has 0 remaining after the operation, 3/2 will give us 1 left over, and 4/2 will give us 0, and 5/2 wll give us 1, etc..

Hey Daniel, whenever I install kangaroo 1 (0099) I'm always short of the 'springsfrommesh' command, are extra plugins required for 'springsfrommesh command to show up on my gh ribbon? alternatively, is there a kangroo2 substitute?
@DanielChristev

I tend not to use the springsfrommesh tool because it is just a clustered version of the springsfromline tool, with some of the control parameters hidden within. If you do absolutely want the springsfrommesh tool, you will also need to grab the files in the 'userobjects' directory that comes with your download of kangaroo and drop them into grasshopper's userobjects directory. Kangaroo 2 does not have a comparative clustered object, but as I said above, the springsfrommesh is essentially the same as (in the case of Kangaroo 2) the length(line) tool, you just need to deconstruct the mesh into a collection of edges - which is done through either the mesh edges tool, or if you have weaverbird installed - wbedges.
