This is great stuff of course but rudimentary. Everyone had gotten better. Including the Dead as LIVE Dead is way more happening than this which could have been Quicksilver Messenger Service. Jerrys guitar work really improved as did Hendrix. Then we have Santana, Sly and the Family Stone, Canned Heat. Again the Who's performance is better in 1969 as well whatever negative things they had to say about Hippies!

charlie rosillo he doesn’t suck playing wise, he’s pretty good. he gets hate cause he went mainstream for a bit, made money from being a mainstream artist.. to which he made a good amount of money, now he can play whatever style of music he wants because he’s established and doesn’t need to worry about money. Now that’s smart. where he messes up is his stage presence and appearance. if I wanna see an average joe wearing the same clothes he’d wear when he’s hanging at home, I’d rather go to guitar center to see that. you have to have a look when you’re a musician. Just look at the Grateful Dead in this video. When you’re playing live, the first thing people notice about an artist is the visual side of things. That’s because the song comes on after. my opinion.

The Steve Miller footage is interesting too but it's only an excerpt of Mercury Blues and a jam. I wish they filmed the whole thing but you have to remember the guys DA Pennebaker hired to film it I know one of them worked at a post office right before he was hired and they were using 15 minute rolls of color film and on top of that not everyone was filming at the same time so there might only be excerpts of anything else that was filmed.
