The experiment consists of a ~30kV high voltage spark generator creating an electromagnetic pulse that propagated 1.5m to a detector. The leading edge of the transmitted pulse and the leading edge of the detected pulse were then compared using an oscilloscope and no time delay within the capability of the scope was observed, where 5ns is predicted if it had propagated at the light speed. The maximum uncertainty in the measurement was 1ns due to noise in the electronics. Since a pulse is digital information. This experiment proves information can be transmitted across space nearly instantaneously. The results is perfectly predicted by Maxwell equations, which yield a wave equation set equal to a source term. Analysis of this equation shows that the phase speed, group speed, and information speed are instantaneous in the nearfield and reduce to the speed of light in the farfield. Below is a link to see a preprint of the paper. We are currently looking for a journal for peer review and publication. The impact of this discovery has implications in both engineering and the foundations of modern physics. The result is completely incompatible with Relativity. Instantaneous signals invalidate Relativity of Simultaneity in all inertial frames and can be used to synchronize all their clocks. In addition, a derivation of Relativity using instantaneous electromagnetic fields (light) yields Galilean Relativity, where time is the same in all inertial frames of reference, and there is no speed limit for mass, fields, and, even light. This can be easily be seen by inserting c=infinity into the Lorentz Transform, yielding the Galilean Transform. This means that if a moving object is observed with farfield speed c light, then Relativistic effects will be observed. But the effects are not real and can be proved by simply changing the frequency of the light, such that instantaneous nearfield light is used, causing the Relativistic effects to disappear. This then proves that the effects of Relativity are just an optical illusion. Since General Relativity is based on Special Relativity, then it has the same problem. A better theory of Gravity is Gravitoelectromagnetism which assumes gravity can be mathematically described by 4 Maxwell equations, similar to to those of electromagnetic theory. It is well known that General Relativity reduces to Gravitoelectromagnetism for weak fields, which is all that we observe. Using this theory, analysis of an oscillating mass yields a wave equation set equal to a source term. Analysis of this equation shows that the phase speed, group speed, and information speed are instantaneous in the nearfield and reduce to the speed of light in the farfield. This theory then accounts for all the observed gravitational effects including instantaneous nearfield and the speed of light farfield. The main difference is that this theory is a field theory, and not a geometrical theory like General Relativity. Because it is a field theory, Gravity can be then be quantized as the Graviton. Lastly it should be mentioned that this research shows that the Pilot Wave interpretation of Quantum Mechanics can no longer be criticized for requiring instantaneous interaction of the pilot wave, thereby violating Relativity. Consequently the Pilot wave interpretation should become the preferred interpretation of Quantum Mechanics due to its deterministic simplicity. I believe that the expansion and contraction of space in and around the particles is what gives particles mass, gravity and inertia. When we apply Kinect energy to a particle, the particle expands giving more mass and resistance against space (inertia), stretches space giving more gravity. If we expand space instead, the particle accelerates, if we contract the particle decelerates.

Because as velocity increases, mass also increases. As the velocity approaches light speed, this increase in mass approaches infinity. Since gravity waves travel at the speed of light, the gravitons that they are theoretically compromised of must be massless, as an infinite mass is physically impossible.

@@justgeorgeous OK- I can't say I'm conversant enough with both sides of the argument to have a strong opinion either way. Anyway, I was just explaining why the theory requires the hypothetical graviton (IF it exists) to be massless, IF gravity waves travel at the speed of light (which also hasn't been proven experimentally, although experimental results HAVE set an upper bound on it's mass of 6×10−32 eV/c²). I wasn't assuming (nor implying) your belief either way- just trying to explain the contradiction you mentioned & the other poster queried 😉.

Think of a 4D big bang which therefore creates a 4D environment known as space-time, and that due to this big singular explosion, everything within it ends up being thrown into motion, and equally so. And so for some objects this motion may be more across space than is the motion of other objects, while the other objects are therefore more in motion across the dimension of time instead. All that can be changed is the direction of this ongoing motion across the 4D space-time environment. And so if you analyze the outcome of this 4D setting, you end up deriving the special relativity equations.

The option is that all 3 observers are in the wrong, or at best, one observer is correct. These observers observe from 3 different frames of reference. The frames of reference are limited in extent of view. From either of them, the entire picture is NOT being witnessed. However, if you choose the 4D environment of space-time as your frame of reference, then it becomes obvious as to how different frames of reference come into play in the first place, and know exactly how they are physically limited.

my hypothesis is that the "graviton" would be a planck-length black hole which would weigh 10^8 kg. This very heavy mass would explain the weakness of the force, since all forces strength are inversely proportional to their mass

If you don't set the particle's speed to be greater than c but instead set time to be negative in the case of the tachyon, you don't run into the same problems. The tachyon is identical to the photon (or graviton) moving "backwards" in time. "Backwards" in in quotation marks because the flow of time is relative to the observer. An observer in the domain of tachyons would have the same laws of physics as us and still measure the speed of light to be the same. An observer in a domain where time travels in a direction opposite the direction we experience might hypothesize about faster than light particles in a domain with time flowing in an opposite direction to theirs. That would be us. Just because we perceive time flowing in one direction does not preclude time moving in a direction opposite to our flow. You don't need to accelerate an object beyond the speed of light for it to be tachyonic. At the speed of light the sign of time changes and further acceleration (from our standpoint) causes the object to slow from the point of view of a person in that opposite time domain. You can't accelerate a mass to c, you might say. And that's true enough but the structure, the topology, of spacetime can possibly cause objects to reach c due to cosmic expansion. (We really don't understand what it means to travel "through" space as opposed to traveling "with" space). Then further expansion would result in the objects moving in the direction opposite to us -- "backwards" in time and, apparently, moving faster than c.

Things have 0 electric charge, things have 0 colour charge, things have 0 weak iso spin, why not 0 mass??? If gravity is a quantum effect then why would there not be 0 mass particles. If gravity isn't a quantum effect; things have 0 speed why would mass be the odd one out where nothing has 0 mass??

Observations do agree with the predictions of general relativity because over large distances both the changing measure of distance and the changing rate of time contribute to exaggerate the effect of increased speed of things the farther away from the galactic center it is where there is less gravity. There is only an appearance of deep time because information from the rest of the universe arrives faster because time runs faster between here and there and the distance isn’t as far as it appears to us to be.

We actually don't know if thee speed of light ist the absolute maximum of velocity in the universe. In fact, before Einstein it wasn't even called the speed of light, but the speed of causality. Einstein postulated the speed of light and the speed of causality to be the same, since we basically only percieve the universe based on the light we detect. But there is a chance the speed of causality could be higher, even if it's jsut a minor percentage. Einsteins himself doesn't exclude this possibility in his work.

I think the propagation wavelength of gravity, is the particle faster than light, or tachyon. A wavelength that cannot be measured, reaching edges past to that of inflation and then a positive vaccum energy from infinite inflation speed returns or ripples the wavelength from its source back to the mass of the object. Creating a proposition wavelength to be deduced as gravity, and this wave constant is the measure of time relative to mass. So in essence. Space-time is, gravity-space-time, either a single tachyon like particle ora tri-pair particle symmetry, consisting of time, gravity, and space fabric. The fundamental notion that spacetime is incoherable and cannot be be measured but is emergent from strings or dimers 0, is not fundamental. Even for the theory of a multi verse a negative brane or postulate is required for the replacement of spacetime, and therefore, forgoing the the presence of time we observe. Theoretically there may be particle and energy like objects beyond inflation and the data within. But this coheres into a fundamental beginning, or an impossible property. The same as the big bang, where all forces and particle interactions do not cohere to models we can create. It's the inverse effect of possibility, by binding spacetimegravity, the quantum dual observer effect of collapse when observed..... "But gluons are not collapsable into a particle, or in essence produce a dual property" gluons are not present, they represent a vaccim energy between quarks at any distance. As such our model of quark matter is incoherent. Feynman possibilities, and theory's only exist because we created or needed quantum possibilities of emergence for some bosons and gluons. And this theory is emergent because we don't quantize gravity as time, or spacetime. But the collapse into a black hole is the very observation of Time as a particle, directly proportional to gravity.. time is gravity and space, in dimer. 0, or dimern5, dimer10 and dimern11. With dimer 0 and 11 being a sum of non 0 into dimer 12, so a non 0 sum of dimension existences is the same property as that beyond spacetime I to spacetime with a particle of infinite speed or mass, like a black hole, or a tachyon. Graviton is defined massless Spin 2 with absolute location while photon is massless Spin 1 transferred at 'c'. Neutrino have mass with speed near 'c' and perhaps contribute weight to mass.

I see nothing strange in superlight speed, those particles just smaller than plank, but they "probably" can't run distances more than photon sizes, other words they are might be building blocks for such particles as electrons and quarks, and then we can explain such things as quantum tunneling, superpositions, and spin 1/2 and others "strange" spins, but superlight partickes are kinda simplification, i think, that universe is build like, wawes are built out of particles, that are smaller waves that build of particles and so on. And on each step of size decreasing speeds of particles/waves are growing and run distances(cause collisions) of those particles decreasing. In other words frequency is growing relative to the size of partickes.

Observers will not detect three different events cause superlight particles rather are buliding blocks of 10•(-18) particles and they do not run distances greater than electron diameter, but even they do, i think they have negligible impact on electron or quark size particles, it's like hit the earth peas grain. So it will not produce any paradocses.
