I refuse to go with any Chinese name generator brand that sells on amazon, they're almost always trash tier quality and nearly impossible to warranty. Sunnex has been around forever and if you really need the cheapest, go with them. Capri is usually my go to for mid tier brands. Gearwrench I avoid as much as possible just on principle because I hate Apex Tool group and what they've done to so many good brands.

The best deal is the Husky 37 piece bit socket when you can get it at $25.

Picked up a casoman 3/8 impact master set on prime day, we used them on several jobs, using Milwaukee fuel stubby 3/8 and fuel 1/2 impact wrench’s and they are good do far.

Hi Tony, How true this is I'm not sure, but if they are made in Taiwan, I was told there are only a few factories that make the tools there, and companies slap their brand name on it. If that's true, then you are probably right, and they are the same tools besides the case

I’m sure they’re the same. I have experience with the sunex impact torx they’re pretty good they don’t just bust on you they start to twist which I prefer because I can usually get some good work out of them while still twisted till they fully break rather than them just snapping. Plus once it twist you can get the warranty process started. I have the Capri master set and really like it a lot. I’m more of a tekton guy but took a chance with the Capri this time. I’m currently trying to source a 1/2” impact set since doing bigger things now I find myself needing 1/2” more and more. I have a small HF set with random sizes but Im trying to find something I just don’t know what just yet🤔 I was going to just get chrome but thought that’s not a good idea I can just use the impact on the ratchets if I need since I have chrome 3/8” and 1/4” already. I have the older 3/8” tekton impacts I love them but since they updated them the price difference is massive so Im going to just try other brands. You’re right the Capri setup is confusing if I had room I’d put them on rails.

I would still buy the Sunex set simply because of the name recognition... and if I needed to use the warranty I'm sure it would be easier than it would be from the competitor...☝️ But, the master set I would go cheapo....🤔

The difference is Sunex is lifetime warranty no question asked. Those others won’t be. I have Sunex impact sets 3/8-80pc and the metric 1/2-43pc and honestly have not used them. I grabbed them on Amazon Black Friday. But I have used The 3/8 swivels are super nice! I have bad habit of grabbing my Tekton chromes for everything.

Hey Tony, I’m usually buying Tekton direct so I get the 10% and because of their ease on warranting. Just curious. Have you heard if they are still warranting there parts if purchased on Amazon? I know many companies won’t.

Yes tekton will still warranty through Amazon. Nothing wrong with getting the 10% in rewards though 👍

From experience, I own everything Tekton but I went with Capri bit sets, the two separate torx and hex sets and then I bought separate the extended hex and torx on rails. I found that to be cheaper and I got more sizes compared to others out there.

Lol you think I've put that thing on a impact 🤣 it's ridiculous that it's even part of the set. 100% the fastener is rounding out when I use just a allen key let alone that little thing on an impact driver 🤣🤣🤣 every time i look at those small ones I just shake my head lol
