Hey Jackson. I've been camping at the SP for several years between Christmas and New Years but never tried kayak fishing the area. You have any suggestions on areas to put in other then the Live Oak ramp and where is best place to get some bait in that area that time of year? Hopefully the weather will cooperate. THANKS in advance.

@@stratos175escape7 bait is a little difficult to find but if you hit creek mouths at low tide you’re bound to find something. The landing at the end of steamboat road is good and there’s a place at the bridge by the serpentarium that you can put in at and get to some good creeks too!

Great videos man. I've been bingeing a lot of your content lately. I'm looking into kayaks now so I can hit the creeks myself! By any chance, what model kayak do you have and if you would recommend it?

Thanks a ton man, glad you enjoy the videos! I currently use the Pescador Pilot 12 from Perception. I do like it a lot but I don't have much experience using other pedal drive kayaks so it's hard to say if it's the best choice but they can be picked up lightly used for a good price. I previously used a lifetime tamarack paddle kayak and it's a Walmart special but a great value. Not very fast but it's stable and inexpensive. Really good introductory kayak for a steal of a price!
