I love the hammered copper arch top and back, a truly unique look. The etching and carved textures just add to it. Nice job! Well-deserved showing in the contest. Thanks for sharing!

My favorite of the 2021 GGBO leading me to this video. I just had to witness the creative process. The crowning touch was at the end of the video: "All music in this video was recorded using this guitar." Epic, bro. Art meets function seamlessly.

I played this guitar today (Yggdrasil)! I came down to York from Edinburgh, then popped into RWB Music. Played 3 of your fine instruments (Graduate, Black Swann, Yggdrasil). Gotta say that Yggdrasil was a very unexpected joy. I did not expect a copper guitar to sound so “woody” and “old”. Congrats, you do fine work 👌

Thank you. It’s a shame i wasn’t there to hear them being played. I dropped in myself this morning, Geoff and Mike both said everyone who plays Yggdrasil seems to be surprised by how other than the weight it just seems to play like an old es-335.

Well done Anthony. I enjoyed watching your process on this build. Your claustrophobic shop, the band rehearsing next door, the patio fire pit annealing station, the Astro turf garden, and the Bill and Ted band in your nan’s attic could not have been better if scripted. Add to those your casually cool demeanor and mad design and craft skills and the result is an extraordinarily familiar yet unique instrument. I and all of my other online identities will vote for you and Yggdrasil.

Thanks. It’s likely to be a bit marmite on the judging, but I’m definitely not hung up on winning a competition. I was expecting to hear something from the copper, but as soon as I plugged it in and flicked to the neck pickup all I heard was ES-335. I’m really impressed with how it sounds.

I watched this from the beginning. I was kept coming back with your personality and humor but as the build progressed I found myself checking every day for new video. The effort and detail in this is amazing. As a luthier how would you put a price on something like this. That's like lifes blood level work. Then on the other hand how do you top it. This will definitely be in top of the scratch build class. So far none I have seen out there rival it but I have yet to see many of the builds. Good luck mate. Gonna miss the evolution of this

Hi Anthony. Well, I watched the video and I’d have to say there were a few guitars out there that caught my eye. Amazing talent and determination many of you builders possess. Still, Vikings rule and take their fiddling’s seriously. I can’t believe that they could have watched all those videos. Too bad Ben can’t hold Ggyymmeennttoorr(so?). Hard to see those engravings in a photo. And the brass rings, the copper tailpiece, inlays, etc. what did you make the top and bottom out of? So good luck, impressive competition, but as a photographer designer woodworker, my unbiased choice is your instrument. Kudos.

"Essentially". I have to give you credit. You've built a good guitar in the spirit with the comp. Also building various components others didn't. I've noticed that 'higher' placed guitars aren't as creative as others that barely get a mention. My only gripe is you only say "essentially" every two sentences. Essentially I'd like you to say "essentially" every sentence. That way I feel like I'm essentially listening to Ben Crow. Essentially though, a good build.
@4thAvenueGuitars

Essentially I’ve noticed that myself too and I’m essentially trying to stop saying it as often, but essentially it’s bloody difficult 😂 thanks, you have no idea how much time I spend re-recording something because I spotted myself saying that bloody word.
