If you practice often (which you do) there's no problem with transitioning between defensive handguns in rotation. I've been doing it for decades and I fire them all very well from Glock 23's to my tiny 32 ACP's and 380's. From my S&W mod 60 357 mag 2'' to a 4'' S&W 629 44 mag for bear protection. You just have to get out there and practice.

50,000 rounds with a carry gun is much more proficient than a guy that fires 500 rounds out of 100 various pistols
@frankbrowning328
16 күн бұрын
@@jason200912 Whle that is true, most people aren't going to have 100 guns in self defense rotation. Rotating through a few guns or even as many as 5 is easy to do. Get enough practice with them to be proficient in self defense by practicing regularly with both with live ammo and dry fire. Self defense guns normally aren't competition guns. If you can reliably put your rounds into the vitals at 15 yards you'll be just fine at the typical engagement distances of 7-10 yards

Great videos bro. My personal favorite subcompacts I’ve carried were the G26, 27, and S@W M&P shield 9 2.0. Just picked up my G47 this year and I’m loving it as home defense and trying to get more comfortable with carrying it. The right holster is 🔑

To me, 8 rounds is the bare minimum I like to have in a firearm. Got an EC9s not too long ago and immediately got a magguts spring for the 7 round mags I have along with buying a few 9 rounders that I use when I carry it. Nice little pocket rocket for the money. Also for anyone else with wrist issues, the Ruger Security 380 is an amazing firearm, probably one of the best under 300 you can possibly buy. It’s like the EZ but has just about double the capacity while being the same size. I bought it for my brother last year since he stays strapped but had his left wrist wrist damn near crushed in a car accident and he need something soft shooting and easy to rack. Shoots like a dream, I highly suggest picking one up if you don’t own or have reviewed one yet

To you as well! And I actually do carry my Masada skin every now and then. It’s an amazing handgun, reliable, durable, underrated. And my only 1911 style pistol is the CSX but it’s not really a full on 1911. Respect

@@spnfirearms the CSX I would consider carrying if it had a version that came with factory installed night sights, an optic cut & a 15rd mag option. As it is at present it is just a 'bare bones' pistol, like Glocks, but unlike Glocks it cant be upgraded

Most people I know that own Gen 5 Glocks say that "everything" is better on a Gen 5 than a Gen 3 or 4... but I've always preferred the Gen 3's too. I know all the differences on paper, but have never had the chance to shoot a gen 5 to really see and feel the differences. Always wondered if it's really that noticeable. I also wonder how smooth the finish is, because it's different than the Gen 3 and Gen 4. I really like the more gray colored finish on the G43's. Whatever the coating is on top of the finish, it's extremely smooth and has the smoothest action of any handgun with a finished slide. (Like many black nitride slides are rough and blued slides, parkerized slides and others just can't match how smooth the Glock finish/coating is).

You have a lot of Glock 26s. I been wanting to get one but haven’t been to Kosher with spending $500 bucks. I carry the 43x on appendix all OEM with 10 round mags and a Taurus 605 poly performance .357 on ankle. Sometimes just a quick go gun on the hip. But usually always carry 2. Been shot 3x and stabbed over 20 home invaded multiple times etc. and the way society is changing it’s better to have two then 1. Especially with multiple shooters at times. Hope that day never comes but with the change in peoples craziness it could one day happen to those that least expect it. Glad your armed and Procure your true freedoms. Great video buddy.

Have only ever heard good things about the TX-22... but I've just always liked the .22 target guns and the TX-22 never struck me as a target gun. They almost always have very short, light single action triggers... and the TX-22 don't look like it has a good trigger like the rest. Always wanted to shoot one to see though, because it can't be that bad if so many people like them. They probably wouldn't be so popular if they had crappy triggers. I think I'd still prefer the Ruger Standard series, the Browning Buckmark, The Neos, the SW Victory and other similar 22lr target guns.
