Burns Harbor is one of the great Great Lakes freighter footers (say that ten times fast!) - there are only 13 ships 1000ft long, and this is one of them! originally built in 1980 for Bethlehem Steel, named after one of their steel mills in (you guessed it) Burns Harbor. American Steamship Company acquired her in 2005 and kept the same name.
She sailed through the St Mary's River on July 29, 2024 where I caught her upbound to the Soo Locks. All video is original, captured on my DJI Mavic 3 Classic.
