Part 1 Below in the link... kzitem.info/news/bejne/lbCNs4pjfWpqaaQ This was a little longer than usual, and I had to cut this into two parts. Sorry in advance if it's a bit too long. I tried to trim down where I could, but with all the crazy twists and turns this game took, it felt like every story needed to be told. This might be the wildest game in Seahawks history. And as improbable a victory as they come. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing. And please let me know which moment you'd like next included as part of this series. I've had a few requests for Steve Largent's revenge hit on Mike Hardin, but it appears there have been more than a few segments created to Largent's wonderful bit of payback in the Kingdome. If that remains the top choice, I'm happy to oblige. Go Hawks!

This game is one of the reasons I'm still here. I was needless to say at one of the darkest points same as our hawks. It was here I learned the true meaning of fight. Of never giving in for a single moment. It's helped me a lot. I even think of friends I've lost and how their teams gave the same message which sadly fell on deaf ears.

There was something just different about this game, wasn't there, Brandon? The fortitude those boys should on the field is definitely something to aspire towards, and never forget. Great narration. My word that game was insane. I remember that day amd where in was. Towards the end i was talking it out. "Ok we have to get a stop, get a touchdown, get a stop,. score, gonfor 2, onside kick, fg" wasmt exactly that accurate but i sure couldnt give up on them. Then i watched what had to.happen for us to win. Marshawns catch and run got the team believing. Defense did what they do. Best D i remember watching, i am biased and.46..FYI. that.started another nightmare for the Packers aboit bird, it could not of felt better for me. The TE that booted.that ball, i still feel sorry for that guy. It was.iber at that point. We truly were apart of a miracle. We.were.the best team in the league that year. Better team doesnt always win. And the after a couple more field goals we.are in OT and the one guu we had all been talking about trading fromthe firat quarter on, the guy who was responsinle for.3.turnovers totally redeems himself and.catches a deep ball thrown up the hash marks for a TD.and a win. On a side note, i may have wamted to lose this game.. 2.weeks later i and we had our hearts torn out..yes definitely. That a tough one, maybe not. Ee werenable.tonbelive for 2 more weeks that we were the best team in the league and everyone would.stay and we would win 5 SB.in 8 years. What a great memory. I will never forget that game and that season. I marshawm can get the.team fired up they.come ready to play. That.wait.to be down 2 scores before we wake up is so frustrating. I trust Pete will get the team ready. Its gomma.be another close one. GO HAWKSS..!.!!!.!!!

I can think if crazier game I've seen either, James. The drama, the feeling of hopelessness only to suddenly turn in our favor at the end. The miracle title for this game is definitely apt. And you're right, part of the pain of that Super Bowl loss was that was just the sense it was ours to have, almost feeling like destiny after this game. And I do think we're in for another barn burner today. Go Hawks!

@TheHawksNest12thman

@Blood Cousin It's your belief that Marshawn Lynch is the greatest running back ever? And you're saying that as a Niner fan. High Praise. Pete Carroll is not the perfect coach, but he's been multiple Super Bowls, won one, won multiple national championships, and will one day probably go into the NFL Hall of Fame. Should his legacy be defined by one ball play call, that we don't even know for sure if he had any input on it? Come on let's put things perspective. I do appreciate you watching and commenting! Best of luck to your team next Sunday, I think you guys are going to win.
@TheHawksNest12thman
4 жыл бұрын
@Blood Cousin Well it would seem he would technically belongs to Oakland rather than San Francisco, but at the end day, who really cares. In regards to Pete, and your belief that he makes the worse decisions in life, I think you could use some perspective. The man's won multiple national championships, a couple to a couple of Super Bowls, and won one. Eventually, he will be voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. If you so sure his decision making is flawed, how in the hell did he accomplish all that? Further, should one play ever define a great coach or player's career? I don't think so. As well, we won't know what input he had on that final call in the Super Bowl. Bevell was making the play calls, not Carroll. You want a defensive-minded head coach taking over play calling duties at the end of a Super Bowl after your coordinator just drove them up the field, and did a good job play calling throughout that game? You really think that's an intelligent approach for a head coach to take?

Wow lucky me, the 1k liker. Hawks should of won sb if they did one of three things. 1. If they kept Chris Clemons or signed a productive leo like him in the offseason. 2. If they received back a talented receiver or tight end for Harvins trade, eg Jordan Cameron from the Browns or DeSean Jackson from Redskins. 3. If they signed or traded for a solid slot corner behind Jeremy Lane, someone like Walter Thurman or a player of similar talent.

Thanks for being the 1,000 like, David. We're just an inch away from 3,000 subs too. Can't believe how well the channel is doing. Any of your suggestions probably would have made a difference. Any backup behind Lane where we didn't have to thrust Tharold Simon into the slot role in the second Super Bowl would have been an improvement. I've always kind of been annoyed they put slot guy Marcus Burley as inactive for that game when they were already light at the position. Jordan Cameron would have given you significant upgrade over Luke Wilson, at least at the time, and who knows, maybe you don't need to make the Graham trade if that works. Desean would have been awesome with Russell's deep ball. I've always got the impression the FO has tried to get DeSean in, but the circumstances just didn't work. He actually visited the Vmac at one point. Thanks again for that like David! I really appreciate it!

Both players have a right to the ball. So for instance, if you go back and watch kind of a similar no-call play in the Saints/Seahawks playoff game in 2013, you'll see Earl Thomas flash to arrive at the ball at the same time as Jimmy Graham on a in-cutting route over the middle. I can't remember the exact play, but it's in the highlights. As long as he doesn't willfully appear to be interfering with the man and is making a play on the ball, there can be contact.
