That’s a character building run Freddy - well done on grinding that one out. Never easy at the best of times so to finish that one is some going.

Well done Freddy, you find so much about yourself when things don't go well. I ask, would the Freddy at the start of your journey got round when feeling rubbish? You smashed it and will go again and will have more good days than bad.

Fair play mate. You did as much as anyone could in the circumstances. Resisting the booze at the works do was a great start. Pity the tummy went sideways but these things are sent to try us. Well done fella 👏 👍

To be fair, I won't say you were obese, exactly. Unless you're being self-deprecating... Just by competing, it puts you in the top 1%, most people do nothing. The Man In The Arena.

You should be proud, the mental tenacity to carry on when every part of you wants to stop is what makes a runner. Nothing else matters. Great work 👍

Thanks Matt! I’m glad I did it, didn’t feel the same way at mile 10 though 🤣 Over the 20 years I’ve lived in the northeast I’ve actually counted up and I’ve done it 4 times! I couldn’t believe that to be fair, shows how long ago some of them were 🤣. Years ago I didn’t train though, just ran them for charity and giggles

Well done man, the tough races are the ones that make us stronger. It's easy when you cruise round, no drama, but it's far tougher when you struggle so to get that finished was an amazing effort. That's the stuff that inspires us to keep going. Thank you Freddie, a great video

Where did you have problems Geoff? We found the baggage buses a bit of a pain to get to through the crowds - but I guess that would happen with 60,000 people trying to go the same way.
