Yes I’m a Baby Boomer born in 1947. My parents met during WW11, both in the Air Force, she from England and he from Wales. If not for the war they wouldn’t have met. My dear Mum was a LACW, she passed away in 2021 aged 97. My Dad is long gone but always in my thoughts.

My parents both listed at War My Father which was the French Underground and her mother was a teenager at the time we met after the war and I am the child of their old age had they had kids as easy as they had wanted and as many as my father had wanted it would have been eight kids ahead of me that it wasn't easy for my mom I was born seven years seven and a half years after my brother when all the kids I went to school with had their parents there they was only one kid parents were as old as mine and that was because they were really his grandparents his parents having died in car accident when he was a baby. Your parents were lucky they actually met during the war they had you right after my parents didn't meet for another 10 years and even then it took a little convincing for my father who had a thing against the Swiss because while my mother was technically not Swiss she had grown up in Switzerland and most people around her refresher has that swissy. It's funny how old I feel like now you are actually old enough to be my parent but don't feel too bad so is my spouse but you're actually older than my spouse so I thank you for making me feel a lot younger than I've been feeling of late. I hope this all makes sense as I'm using voice to text it doesn't always write things down as I would like them to be written I can't really see very well to check it over. Just out of curiosity and wouldn't be considered a baby boomer before and after the war right?

Ah but you are forgetting not back then in order to be even with a foot in the door in the acting profession you had to be able to sing dance and pretty much be able to do it all, if you couldn't do it all and you probably couldn't get your foot in the door which means if you were lucky and had started through a small little acting company and managed to get a role that eventually get you noticed back then you did Ben Whistling Dixie in the dark and you'd have been up the river Without a Paddle two paddle in a chicken-wire fence sinking fast but maybe I exaggerated.

Precious memories as a child when had TV, on and off, and raised correctly to appreciate Gentlemen and Women who were TRUE LADIES. Mr. Bing Crosby and Mr Danny Kaye WILL always exist. So many glorious, loving, inspiring moments through their talents given. The Ladies so many in movies additionally. Beautiful each and every one. True class it was at that time, and I hope will always be.

The years named are significant, however, it isn’t quite that simple. If we are talking about presumed attitudes and values of the “baby boomers”, it also depends on the subcultures and or the family of the “baby boomer,” even the part of the country the child was raised in.
