Grand Blue is my favourite manga of all time and this since I was in my second year of middle school (now second year of college), and I read it once then reread it immediately afterward until 6 a.m, where I had to go pass a test at school (oops). It's so valuable to me because it made me laugh in a time where I barely had any food, barely had any meaningful human interaction, barely had any peaceful time because of alcoholic relatives and a very bad home situation. Grand blue just made me laugh and laugh and gave me hope that I could meet people I'd be able to mess around with and laugh with the same way they did in each chapter. It was one of the major reasons my depression at the time didn't go beyond the boiling point and I just can't express how much I love this manga for it now that I'm living by myself and just generally a much happier person. So yeah. Read Grand Blue. That stuff is just amazing.

Innocent is such a good manga. I recommend the anime Rose of Versailles. Although they're defenitely not connected, both are set during Pre-French Revolution. With Innocent being told from the Sansons' perspective, Rose of Versailles is told through the eyes of Oscar, a daughter of a general raised to be a boy.

Watched this video at work. I was set on talking about how much PTSD Radio reminded me of Fuan no Tane-- Only to find out it's both by Masaaki Nakayama. If you want more of those stories, Fuan no Tane is a few series of manga collecting them back in 2005 while PTSD radio seems to be some of his 2022 work. Looking at PTSD radio, he doesn't seem to have lost his edge

11:50 I do the same exact thing. I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and then before I open the door, I think “what if there’s a monster right outside the door?” as a kid, I used to cry my eyes out, trying to muster up the courage to open the door. I’d be in there for hours sometimes. Now it only takes me a few minutes to get it together but it’s so stressful sometimes 😂😂😂

Yamowari is just too good. I made a lot of wrong choices and had a lot of experiencies with young ppl who are just as the kids in his stories. Look the story is real, and that made everything hit, you could know someone who had something like some child in this stories. The story about sensei is a hack, is so good to see some childs get there life back, but in some part of your brain, you know ain't all kids, you know some kids in the background wasn't the luck one. Well first time i saw someone rec this manga, so you have my sub for life (pls dont do anything bad), a lot of ppl need this manga, thanks to make it some more read this.

The thing about Grand Blue is, the anime didn't do the manga justice. The mangaka used his skills to the max, even drawing some ultra detail just to deliver the gag his writer wanted (same writer as BakaTest). While the anime cut some corners on those said gags
