Not fair for the Logarithm to only appear as a way to invert exponentials... That's a use we know. But more interesting is that Logarithms transform multiplication to addition and helped to guide people over long ocean trips.

Well the additive and multiplicative property of logarithms just comes from the nature of exponents. They were very useful for numerical approximations ages ago. Don’t know a value? Open up the logarithm book!

So you choose to talk about Ring theory but not Group theory or Field-theory Linear algebra does cover a lot about fields, but I think these two are still worthy of explaining

I wish people would say the pythagorian theorem tells how to find the distance between any two points on a plane (labeled with x and y coordinates). A beginner may wonder why anyone would care about "right triangles"

wow this explains those concepts so well but doesn't get enough attention while most brain-rot or TikTok videos got millions of views this channel is definitely underrated and also most of the educational channels as a KZitem creator, I started because I also wanted everyone to study so the world could be a better place but many kids my age keep watching Skibidy toilet things and I am trying to draw their attention by making cat memes and baiting them to study but it seems that it didn't work so well also, I'm broke and need to pay students ' attention :)) anyways I'm subscribing :D and sorry if my English sucks it's my 5th language

Theory of relativity Is not a math theory. Special relativity Is related to group theory, specificaly poincare group, and Einstein great win here was to basicaly ball with the poicare group, that was first studied by being the symetri group of maxwell's equations, and say that It Is the symetry group of the entirety of physics. General relativity Is basicaly pseudo-reminnian geometry + Einsteins field equations ( one side Is pure geometry the other Is pure physics ) and It again Is based on older math that Einstein applyed to physics. Its acctualy quite interesting that most major wins of Einstein were simply he having a better understending on how to apply X or how to interpret X math theory better than everybody else, unlike Newton and Maxwell that would be impactfull mathematicians even If all their physics work vanished.

the logarithm one was explained just a tad bit confusing. Just think of it as: what power do you need to raise a number by to get this other number. Exponentials run oppositely, as you said. By the way, exponentials dont always result in a bigger number as you could always raise 2 to the negative one power to get 1/2. 2^x = 8; logarithm says what power does 2 need to be raised by to get 8 2^-3 = x; Exponential says what result will we get when we raise 2 to the -3rd power

Nice summary. So much knowledge, so little time. I do not understand why mathematicians think there is more than one infinity. the different number systems are just a way of adding symmetry to the natural numbers or representing natural numbers when you do not know the size of infinity.
