Many Greek phrases sound weird if you translate them into English.
A couple of days ago, I had no idea how to say swimming flippers so I tried to describe it. In Greek, we say «βατραχοπέδιλα» which means sandals for frogs! I thought it should be something similar. So, very confidently, I went like: we wear them to swim faster and they look like frog legs.
My colleague couldn’t stop laughing. Then I came up with this video idea.
