And yet again, I find myself in that mysterious enigmatic part of youtube. The disturbing part is that it is 6 AM & I'm watching tarantula PORN! Now,If that isn't bizarre & disturbing enough, I watched for 31 minutes & all I saw was tarantula foreplay "hey sexy Tap Tap" The sexual commentary was awesome, I never thought I would be cheering, let alone watching Tarantula PORN. I think the problem was due to sexual incompatibility, he was too mild a missionary position, wham bam thank you ma'am type, while she was wild and exploratory, a up against a wall, cowgirl type, no wonder she got pissed after all that foreplay & he lasted a second, maybe he should try arachnilingus before arachnoitus Oh god what happened to me?

I love your tarantulas and it's crystal clear that you're excellent with them and exceedingly knowledgeable. You're right on top of everything and clearly a brilliant guy. I have just one suggestion to consider and hopefully I won't appear like some internet troll but check into a free video editing application, or Windows Movie Maker and once you understand how to apply it, you could cut about 20 minutes of zero-happening-footage off of this and have yourself a really great, highly entertaining video. Unfortunately for most people the wait time for anything to transpire here is excruciatingly painful to sit through and few will invest the time to wait for the climactic ending and miss the highlights. Outside of that, bravo and keep up the terrific work. You mentioned that you don't see them as spiders and that you love them and they are part of the family. I too own Tarantulas and love them dearly and they are very much a part of my life and family but I often relay the identical statement as you in that I absolutely do not see them as spiders but more like amazing, incredible, delicate, fragile, magnificent, furry little alien pets, LOL, and truly a phenomenal addition to nature.

Before the serenade, get a big tub, put both enclosures inside... leave them open but don’t let one enter the other. Let them sense each other. Let the drumming start first. Do this for a week if you see no drumming. But close both enclosures when not around etc. Then when you think the time is right, and you see both interested both are drumming coax the male inside her lair... then have a fish net and straw or paint brush ready. So you can save the male if you see she isn’t interested and sees him as good

@RenegadEfw260
3 жыл бұрын
Yes their rituals are long I’ve noticed from personal experience and others experiences that if the male rushes in, is pushy and don’t truly take his time and read her vibes right she always eats the male which in my statistics is usually 7 out of 10 as most male ts are trying to get in and out the patient one won the race as the 3 out of 10 i notice usually do if the female continues to back up and not rear the male has to back off and continue seducing her with his rapping and curessing she gives him one chance when she finally rears and usually still tries to eat the male after success in this species more then most. The female gbb are def cannibals and usually eat the males if it’s prior to mating she didn’t waste her time for his pig headed antics then if he does woo her then she feels obligated to eat him anyways. I heard if she tries to eat him and gets to and the mating was indeed successful it’s usually a great sign that she will drop a sack that’s not a fact tho. Just hit or miss and opinion... I would never recommend leaving the male all night in there with this species that’s a sure way to get him killed when his chances are slim to living after encountering a female of this species. That being said he did have good reflexes but even so u also want to watch for suddle movements and actions of the female. They feel the male and no he is tougher to tackle then most of her feeders so ive seen multiple times her tap just to draw him in close enough to be able to easily wrap him up her front legs rear up then as he moves in they slowly come down usually right behind the males 3rd set of legs and she wraps him forward and lunges her fangs down and he can’t get away cus his only legs not under her is the last pair the back legs and he is doomed. If you notice the female of this species tapping and backing up and when she does rear she slowly seems to be dropping her front legs on his body or legs while he is distracted by her love then you need to recognize this and get him out of there anytime I’ve seen the female do this before any insertion it has always lead to her baiting him in to make him easier to kill and eat for his size... this species is tough to breed because how unpredictable the females are and they actually are predictable just in a way we wish they weren’t you need to predict and expect the female will attack everytime so your undivided attention is on the male and making sure he can live long enough to pass along his DNA which is his soul purpose after matureing... it’s hard to see this on KZitem cus few people recording and mating has saved their ts due to not being focused on the bigger picture but I applaud this t keeper as he was constantly mentioning being ready for any hostile behavior or saying he is just here to protect him basically and stating how he needs to be ready just Incase. One of the few who can manage a KZitem channel wit ts breeding and recording it. Great video. Tough species to breed. Never leave male over night but be patient if ur male is being patient for her and she isn’t trying to grab him and bait him then u be patient sometimes they will do this for 3-4 hours before her fully rearing up but once he does the deed GET HIM OUT if you can’t commit to the time it may take then DO NOT ATTEMPT THE BREEDING. That’s not fair to the natural process of things and you need to only breed when u are ready to be fully ready to split them and watch them for the next 2-6 hours it generally DONT take no more then 3 but I have seen it take a while. Some species can spend the night with the female as they may mate multiple times that night... THIS SPECIES IS NOT ONE OF THOSE and when the female is interested and the male is takin his time those are great signs stay focused and be ready to sit for a few hours because when that happens this can be a slow to breed species. Some can take 10 min if that happens with this species it’s rare and don’t expect that... hope this helps the mis informed as well as the curious and mad props on the video

Great save. Did your female get a sac from this pairing? I want to buy a sling or juve GBB. But they are so hard to find. I would rather not buy wc . Only want captive bred ones and now I see why they are so rare. They must be very hard to mate. I don't want to breed them, just want to have one GBB because of their beautiful coloring and ease of keeping. I know they can be very fast at times. I don't mind it if my GBB is a male. I would loan it out or trade it for a sling female if the mating was successful. Since they mate only after they are mature I would still have the male for most of its life span and if they produce a good sac I would ask only for one sling or juvie male or female. If you know of anyone who sells the CB T's please send me a message here on the comments or post a video. Thanks very much. JJ

If you try to stud a sling, honey you will be feeding a female T a nice little spiderling. It is 50/50 that the adult male will make it out alive from a mating. But the little ones are just food. Also some mother T's eat their eggs. If they know they are bad they will eat them. See? there is so much to learn. Meanwhile we can watch all the videos of everyone else and if they have trouble, we know what NOT to do.

@tarantulady8565

butterfly kiss "hooked out" means the male had the final molt of his life and has become sexually mature. He will die shortly thereafter, within a year or so. The hooks are "tibial hooks" on the first pair of legs that are only there after his final molt. So, when he's hooked out, he's ready for mating. The fresher the molt, the better...as the male is on his way out after that last molt, and will become slower and less able to mate successfully the longer you wait.
