Early Green Day was the shit. There are a lot of great punk and hardcore bands who play minute long machine gun fire, but there is something to be said for bands who write nice songs. Green Day were always next level songwriters. They lose me around the American Idiot era, but I've got a lot of respect for them for staying true to themselves and not ever really giving a fuck about what people think they should or shouldn't do. And how can you not love this song...??

These were the mf days yall. Late 90s and early 2000s was making a killin. Before all this social media and tech even came out. Uggggghhh. What would i give to relive them days all over AGAIN.

I saw them at Lollapalooza the same year. They told everyone to rush the stage. It caused a big snafu with festival security, who were trying to keep people out of the seated section up front. I stayed in the field like a good little boy. It was an awesome show though. I was not quite 14 years old. Perfect time to hear them perform songs from this album.

I love how Mike is able to jump around with the G3 on him.

Been a big fan of the band all throughout my teenage life. I still do and listen sometimes but not crazy as those days. 👌😀
